Reporting content or a person
Every post and every message has a Report action, and every person can be blocked from the profile screen. Blocking is immediate and local to your device: they stop reaching you, and nothing of theirs arrives again.
Reports reach us at abuse@pingworld.co, which is monitored. We act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours — removing the content where we're able to, and removing the person's ability to reach the people who reported them.
You can report by email too, without opening the app.

Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up, no email, no password. You open the app and you're in.
How do my friends find me?
They don't — you add each other directly, in person or with a link you send. Ping has no people search and no friend suggestions. Nobody can request you out of nowhere.
Where are my photos stored?
On your phone, and on the phones of the friends you sent them to. That's the whole list.
Can you see my photos or read my messages?
No. Everything is locked for the specific friends you chose before it leaves your phone. We don't have the key, and there's no version of this where we can be asked for one.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Everything your friends have already sent is on your phone, at full quality. A plane, a basement, a dead zone — it opens just the same.
Is it instant?
Near instant. Posts and messages land in seconds, at full quality, on 5G or Wi-Fi. Nothing is compressed on the way. If a friend's phone is switched off, their posts arrive as soon as it's back.
What if I lose my phone?
Turn on Memory and a new iPhone brings your posts back — the key lives in your iCloud Keychain, so there's nothing to write down and no recovery phrase to lose. Without it, your archive lives only on your device, so a lost phone means starting fresh and your friends adding you again.
How much does it cost?
The app is free — every feature, for everyone, including delivery. One optional extra, Memory, keeps a locked copy of everything you've posted for three years so a new phone can bring it back: $5.99 a month or $39.99 a year. There will never be ads, and there is nothing about you to sell.
Why does it need an iPhone 15 Pro?
Everything happens on the phone rather than on a server. Keeping what your friends post at full quality and doing the work locally needs a recent chip and the memory to go with it.
Is there an Android version?
Not today.
